The RSV 1000 was Aprilia’s first big sports car and the machine was born superbly. Regularly retouched (homeopathically), she remains a very high level athlete and completely accomplished. A few details have been revised for the 2003 version: the ergonomics have been slightly revised, the gearbox ratios redesigned and the aesthetics slightly retouched with in addition a burnished exhaust. If its tortured line is not always unanimous, it is undeniable that it is a very efficient and devilishly sharp machine. The fairing has not undergone the slimming treatment of Japanese productions – thus, it protects the pilot well and offers the luxury of excellent penetration into the air. Its twin-cylinder engine developed by Rotax is a concentrate of technology, notably benefiting from the APPC system preventing the rear wheel from dribbling when downshifting. The R version will allow you to benefit from radial brake calipers and lightened elements.
