The endurance CBR will benefit from the ABS but will do without the suspension progress of the new Fireblade. Like most machines in the Superbike category, it prefers to equip itself with Öhlins, in this case with a TTX36 shock absorber at the rear. Fork side for 2012, the CBR benefits from the new FGR 200. Stiffer, lighter than the previous FGR 100, it also allows more settings. Brembo brake calipers have given way to a game of Nissin. The exhaust remains supplied by Akrapovic.
New configuration for the pilots as well. John McGuinness and Cameron Donald retain their positions while two new recruits join the structure, Gary Johnson and Simon Andrews.
