In addition to its decoration modeled on that of the machines engaged in world SuperSport, the Turismo Veloce RC is equipped with specific forged rims, a partially carbon fender, crankcase protection, a small numbered plate on the handlebars and a black coating for the footrest plates as well as the silencer cover.
The dress evolves this year on points of details: more red, in particular for the rims, the mudguards, and a thicker line on the side fairings. Unfortunately, no SC Project exhaust, as can be seen on the Brutale or F3 of the RC series.
The Turismo Veloce is one of the few trail-GTs to be powered by an 800 cc. The norm in the segment is more at 1200. But beware, not just any mill. The Italian 3 cylinder is a mixture of ardor and character. It now benefits from some mechanical improvements to increase reliability. At the same time, MVICS 2.0 engine management is further improved for greater fluidity and efficiency. In addition to 110 horsepower and 8.6 mkg of torque, the Turismo Veloce provides 4 maps as standard, 8-level traction control, shifter up&down, anti-wheeling and ABS. The chassis is renewed in its prerogatives: structure mixing a steel trellis frame with aluminum plates, heavy Brembo braking with 4-piston radial calipers on 320 mm discs, and Sachs suspensions which adapt the damping in real time.
The MV-Agusta TV 800 RC borrows a maximum of equipment from the Lusso version. What to go far and without asking questions. In addition to the luggage as standard, given the colors of the Reparto Corse, the machine has a 12V socket to connect accessories, a central stand, a Garmin GPS, heated grips, semi-active Skyhook suspension and cruise control. Note that the suitcases can carry 30 liters of cargo each.
Alongside the F4 1000 RC, F3 675/800 RC, Brutale RC and Dragster RC, the Reparto Corse family continues to grow. MV-Agusta seems destined to offer each category of its machines in this special livery. But this kind of delicacies at a double price: on the one hand, there will not be enough for everyone because it will be manufactured, this year again, in only 250 copies; and on the other hand, the price is clearly seasoned.
