A real product of the French soil, that’s the café-racer from Voxan. Offbeat, with inimitable taste and intrinsic personality, the Auvergne roadster is getting better for 2005. No revolution in form or in spirit. No need elsewhere; this motorcycle is not fashionable. Its charm, its curves, its silhouette … it is THE French motorcycle, with style, a little panache and a lot of qualities.
The 2005 version is available with 2 new colors, blue and orange, each adorned with a cabbage decorationïat "racing" : a false number plate on the seat backrest, repeated in comma on the sides of the fork crown. A little black paint on the engines, a new dashboard with digital screens and analog counters, a finish in progress, and we went around the visual mods.
What changes the most is what is not seen, or little. The 41mm Paioli fork is replaced by a 43mm Marzocchi model. The exhaust is now catalyzed and the twin is refined, with new peripherals to give it more pep. From 45 mm in diameter, the diameter of the injection butterfly housings increases to 54 mm, while the electronic management is revised, but without affecting the character of the V2. At the output, almost 6% more power is transmitted to the rear wheel.
This boiler is definitely very endearing. Without losing any of its flexibility, it distributes its power with a very slight difference compared to the previous model. It seems that his breath is noticeably less present at mid-range. But when the needle goes to the right, the mill looks stronger than before. He does not hesitate to attack the red zone, having taken care to convince you of his strength and character in previous regimes.
The new front axle does not change the handling of the café-racer. As healthy and efficient as ever, it has elicited nothing but praise and pleasure since its inception..

We wonder why the Voxans do not invade all the roads of France. A superb engine, machines with a strong identity, motorcycles of enthusiasts … Voila, we put our finger on it. A Voxan is above all a passion motorcycle. Ride different, few people are ready to take the plunge. It’s a shame, because the products from the Issoire plant are good wines that should not be locked in a cellar. To consume without moderation.
