Yamaha 1670 MT-01 RACING LIMITED EDITION 50th ANNIVERSARY 2006

Yamaha is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary this year and the MT-01 is part of the celebrations. The manufacturer has reserved exclusively for France this limited series of MT-01 "Racing" available in 2 very evocative colors.

A yellow version using the colors of the manufacturer’s competition machines in the 80s; and a blue version in the colors of the current sports cars in the range. On the one hand the glorious memory of the great era with Kenny Roberts Sr. – on the other the prestige of the victories in Rossi’s hands. These winner colors decorate the tank, belly pan and front fender. A series of stickers commemorating Yam’s 50 years are applied to the hoof and 2 small plaques "MT-01 LIMITED EDITION" are embedded on each side of the twin, in the heart of the V formed by the cylinders. These models will be available in the first half of September for a price barely higher than the standard version..
